Dream Job

As midterm exams approach, I feel the need to remind myself of my goals.  I am an aspiring art student and my dream job is to work with a creative team making beautiful window displays.  My biggest inspiration for going to art school is Free People.  Their amazing blog is so full of beautiful images you could spend a day browsing its archives!  Here are a few inspiring images from the window displays of Free People's sister store anthropologie.  Enjoy!!!

Obsession Alert!

Okay, first of all -I know I suck.  I never finished doing collections week!  I was on the ball Monday and Tuesday and then....I lost my muchness. But, you know after Tuesday even the calender says W.T.F, right!?
Anywho, I would like to share some beautiful pictures with you all and also welcome my new followers!

I could not possibly be more in love with this fall's lace fashion trend!  I don't know if it is because I am a child of the 80's who just so happens to ADORE Madonna, or if it's the perfect combination of sweet and sexy.  I do know I love it more than a squirrel loves nuts!

Back to school shopping!

So, I suppose this is a bit of a fashion post.  I love fashion and I wish I could make my own clothes!!!  Why doesn't IUPUI offer a home-ec course!?
Anywho, this fall I am really digging orange & brown, crocheted and embroidered details, shabby floral print, tights, knee-socks and of course, plaid!
This weekend Jacob and I are planning a bit of a getaway in Southern Indiana to do some thrifting and spend some quality time.  Nashville, IN is known for it's small specialty shops, and tons of arts & crafts.  Bloomington has tons of vintage & thrift stores.  Hopefully we can fulfill our back to school wishlist this weekend!

Here is a taste of what I am loving right now!
