Tuesday Inspiration

There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more,
-LORD BYRON, Childe Harold

Obsession Alert!

Okay, first of all -I know I suck.  I never finished doing collections week!  I was on the ball Monday and Tuesday and then....I lost my muchness. But, you know after Tuesday even the calender says W.T.F, right!?
Anywho, I would like to share some beautiful pictures with you all and also welcome my new followers!

I could not possibly be more in love with this fall's lace fashion trend!  I don't know if it is because I am a child of the 80's who just so happens to ADORE Madonna, or if it's the perfect combination of sweet and sexy.  I do know I love it more than a squirrel loves nuts!

Collection Tuesday -Vintage Folk Art on Wood

Hello again :) It is day 2 of collection sharing week via Pixies and Bears.  I really like it, because it gives me a perfectly good excuse to procrastinate doing my homework! Today's collection is my little decorative wood pictures that I have only been collecting for mostly this past summer (other than a couple pieces.)  I got most of these from various Goodwills in the areaI haven't even hung them yet! I think they're pretty sweet and I would like to arrange them in a sort of cluster all together in the dining room at some point.
Here they be!

The last three are already hanging in my kitchen and they aren't included in the first picture.  Pretty cute, Eh?  :)

Collection Monday -Vintage Aprons

Hello all! :)  I have been a huge slacker on my blog since school started but, Lindsay of Pixies and Bears had a really cute idea to share our collections all week.  I am really more like a hoarder than a collector so I definitely think I can come up with something every day!  For my first collection I have vintage Aprons.  :)  I love these!  They range from 1950's to 70's.  I would love to eventually re-purpose them into clothing if I ever learn to sew.

Here they are!

For the ladies :)

Women are angels, and when someone breaks our wings, we continue to fly...on a broomstick. We're flexible that way.
